We’re a family‑run group with three homes in Brooklyn: a laid‑back Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Bed‑Stuy, a bakery that wakes up with the neighborhood, and a caffè where the aperitivo ritual feels right at any hour.

Everything we make starts with where we come from: slow‑risen doughs, sauces that simmer since morning, pastries shaped by hand, and drinks poured with the ease of doing something you truly love. Find out more about us

The Media Says:

“I love the back garden at Saraghina. I always feel like I could be out of town in some rustic village and not basically in the middle of Brooklyn. It’s especially charming at night with all the little lights on. As far as the menu goes, it’s difficult to pick favorites between the pizzas since they’re all pretty delicious.”

The Vogue Editors’ Guide to Outdoor Saraghina Restaurant

“You can’t rush a loaf of bread as it rises. And as Edoardo Mantelli, the owner of Saraghina, has discovered, you can’t rush a bakery, either. The one he was building next to his casual Italian restaurant was to open in June. The month came and went; he escaped to Italy. Finally the bakery is ready, looking like a country store with an open kitchen where deeply burnished loaves like ciabatta and miches emerge from the deck ovens. Mr. Mantelli rolls the fresh pasta, also made for the restaurant.”

Saraghina Caffè is an amazing hidden gem just next to Fort Greene in Brooklyn. This Italian restaurant offers brunch until 3 PM, which gave us the perfect chance to mix things up—enjoying dishes like rigatoni, artichoke pizza, and avocado toast all in one sitting.

This was a hidden gem! We stumbled upon this restaurant while attending a basketball tournament nearby in Brooklyn. The atmosphere was just cozy and intimate. My Salad was exceptional and the blueberry pancakes were fresh and tasty! My “pink martini” was delicious. A definite must spot if you are in the area! I really wanted to try the homemade pasta- however, the homemade pasta is not available until after 4:30 PM. However- my pancakes and salad were delicious!

You can always count on a good solid espresso from the bakery here, and if you dare, try one of those lovely focaccias staring from behind the glass as you wait. You won't be sorry, but you may get addicted. You were warned.

The food that we ordered was impressively good. The pizzas were excellent, but especially the Salsiccia. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had to date. The brussel sprouts and the Arancine fried risotto balls were all very delicious. Summed up, this place hits the spot. We were impressed.

We visited Saraghina Pizzeria on our very first night in New York, fresh off the plane from Manchester, UK — and while we were both running on empty after a long day of travel, the restaurant still made a strong impression.

The service was first class — warm, attentive, and relaxed — exactly what we needed after a hectic arrival. The food was genuinely lovely: well-made, flavourful, and clearly handled with care. We both really enjoyed what we ordered, and the setting had a great energy — stylish without feeling forced, and buzzing with local life.

That said, we were both far too tired to fully appreciate the experience at the time. If anything, it’s a spot we’d love to revisit with fresher eyes (and a sharper appetite) on another trip. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place or the experience — it just deserved a more well-rested version of us.

Had a very cute date night here. I've been to the Bedstuy location a few times and had meant to try this location for years. We'd just come from a show in Fort Greene and were looking for a last minute place to have a bite. It was a Thursday night in November so I didn't quite expect everywhere to be so busy! After putting our names on a waitlist for three nearby spots we were very much happy to be seated right away at Saranghina. It was also lively and near capacity with indoor seating but fortunately no wait. I enjoyed the coat check interaction at the front--it was a small detail that made it feel a tad more elevated for a regular night in Brooklyn.

Had the gnocchi, Caesar salad and beets. Everything was delicious and exceeded expectations. The space itself has an older, wooden aesthetic which felt like historic Fort Greene and was charming. Overall, lovely experience on a Thursday night.

This bakery is a neighborhood fave. I went with a friend because we were on the hunt for all things bread. I got this gorgeous baguette and some really nice soft cheese. I ate a piece warm right out of the bag.

I ate dinner here with a friend, and I'm so happy we went! There weren't any reservations available for the time we wanted to eat at, so we tried our luck as a walk-in. Thankfully, they were able to seat us outside immediately! The weather was beautiful so outdoor seating was extremely comfortable. The staff was very attentive and answered all our menu questions.

We ordered two pasta dishes, and they were both amazing! The menu doesn't mention it, but all of the noodles are house made. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and deliciously seasoned.

The restaurant is perfectly situated in cute Fort Greene with lots of cafes and dessert places nearby. Street parking is available, and there are several trains in the area. The restaurant is close to Barclays, as well.

The best bread for miles. AND the best chocolate chip cookie. More than once I've bitten into the steaming baguette on my walk home and had to go back to replace it for a dinner party. This place is a tentpole under which Bed-Stuy dances.

The ambiance here is super cute. I met a group of friends for brunch and we had a great time. Good coffee, good table set ups, and lovely atmosphere.
